History of the Festival

The festival was organized for the first time in 1983 by an initiative of the Choral Society "Armonia". Since then, it has been realized annually, by "Armonia" with the cooperation of the Prefecture and the Municipality as well as the Holy Metropolis of Preveza.

Many well-known choirs from all over the world have participated successfully through the years. It has become a cultural institution for Preveza.
