The Slovene Female Youth Choir "Krasje", Trieste, Italy Conductor: Matjaz Scek The Slovene Female Youth Choir Krasje gathers girls and young women aged 14 to 20. It was founded in autumn 2008 in response to the need for a choral music program suitable for girls’ needs and abilities. The founding purposes were to exemplify and teach vocal excellence and technique, in order to form well-rounded musicians, to promote interest and understanding of choral singing, to give opportunities for personal development and to put together Slovene singers living on both sides of the border between Slovenia and Italy. In June 2009 the choir had his first concert and in October 2009 the ensemble successfully took part at the 5th International Choir Festival Dubrovnik (Croatia). In 2010 the choir held several good performances along the border between Slovenia and Italy. A major success was the exhibition at the international choir competition Armonia di voci in Pienza (Toscana - Italy) in november 2010, where the choir finished absolute first. "Ave Maria" , Rivne, Ukraine Conductor: Marina Honcharova The Choir was established at Rivne Municipal Palace of Pioneers and Students in 1968 by Volodymyr Ostrovski under name “Rivnenski dzvinochky”. Since 1976 till present day the choir is conducted by the Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine Mariya Honcharova. In 1993 the choir changed its name into “Ave Maria” and since September 2008 the Choirs has been working at Rivne Municipal Palace of Children and Youth. “Ave Maria” is the children’s choir that trained and brought up hundreds of girls and boys, and became the most popular children’s choir in Rivne region. The choir repertoire – sacred music, the national and world classics, arrangements of folk songs. The choir “Ave Maria” is listed in the encyclopedia “Art collectives of Ukraine” and its conductor, Mariya Honcharova – in the encyclopedia “Women of Ukraine”. Competitions, Festivals
Concert tours: Russia (2006), Byelorussia (1989), Poland (1993, 2005, 2007, 2008-2010), Germany (1996, 2003), Czechia (1997), France (1999, 2001, 2004, 2007, 2010) "Consonance", Bucharest, Romania Conductor: Adam Korzeniowski The Chamber Young Choir “Consonance” was founded in 1996 being initiated by Lacramioara Ana Pauliuc, teacher at National Collegiul “Dinu Lipatti’ from Bucarest. The members are students at the National Collegiul “Dinu Lipatti” from Bucarest. From the begine the choral was grauated with many prices and diploma. The most important prices are : The first price and the special price “The Gold Birth” – Albena 2007 and two Silver Medals winned at the “World Choir Games” - Graz 2008. Coral Awara, Los Llanos de Aridane, Canary Islands, Spain Conductor: Marcos Francisco Lorenzo Afonso Coral Awara makes its first public debut on 2006, and performs for the first time in June 2007. With 34 members, of which 24 make up a junior choir performing independently on many occasions, its activities and plans are constant, being its performance in the International Choral Festival in Riva del Garda (Italy) in October 2009 one of the most recent shows, where the Junior choir received a gold diploma in the traditional music section, and the mixed choir a silver diploma in the sacred music section. Chuncheon City Youth Choir, Chuncheon City, Korea Conductor: Gyeong Hee Lee Founded in January 2009,CCYC is consist of 34 young talented students who are in different high schools in Chooncheon City, located eastern part of Seoul( capital city of Republic of Korea). They all love singing and are being well trained by Ms Lee, GyeongHee who won many reputed international competitions. CCYC participates in lots of national singing festivals and community eventsin cooperation with other music groups,and sometimes organizes their own music events. CCYC runs their annual concert 2 times a year. Youth Choir “Svitych”of the Gogol State University of Ukraine, Nizhyn, Ukraine Conductors: Lyudmyla Shumska & Lyudmyla Kostenko The Youth Choir “Svitych”of the Gogol State University of Ukraine was organized in 1993. The choir members are students of different university departments, young university teachers, school teachers of the city. The Youth Choir “Svitych”of the Gogol State University of Ukraine is a winner of the 3rd National Ukrainian Choral Contest in Honour of M. Leontovych in the category of chambef choirs; the gold medal winner of the 1st International Choral Olympiad Linz – 2000(Austria); a prize –winner of international contests and festivals in Belarus(1995, 2008), Italy(1998, 2008, 2010), Germany(1999, 2001, 2007), Poland(1998, 2003), Serbia(2006), Turkey(2005), Hungary(1995, 1996) and France(2009). The choir also boasts recordings of choral music for the National Radio Company of Ukraine. Polyphonic Choir of Patras – Children’s section, Patra, Greece Conductor: Eleni Papadopoulou – Aravantinou It was founded in 1983 as the second group of the Polyphonic choir. It has given over 200 concerts in Greece and abroad. Some medals it has been awarded are: silver medal in the International Choral Festival of Athens in 1990, silver medal in the European Youth competition in Neerpelt of Belgium in 1994, gold medal in the National Choral Festival of Rhodes and many others. The choir has worked with Thanos Mikroutsikos, Dionissis Savvopoulos, Nikos Kypourgos and it has cooperated with the well-known choirs Cantilena and Pilsen from the Checz Republic and the choir Dobric from Bulgaria. In July 2010 it took part in the 28o Choral Festival of Cantonigros in Spain. The choir is conducted by Eleni Papadopoulou-Aravantinou. |
